The Microbiotec’25 will be hosted at the University of Azores, between 04-06th December 2025, where the vibrant biodiversity of the Azorean islands inspires innovation and collaboration in microbiology and biotechnology.
The Microbiotec congress has been happening biannually since 2005, co-organized by the Portuguese Society of Microbiology and the Portuguese Society of Biotechnology.
This conference aims to create an enthusiastic platform for discussion and collaboration between national and international researchers and stakeholders across diverse areas of Microbiology and Biotechnology, while also welcoming young researchers taking their first steps into the scientific community.
MICROBIOTEC’25 seeks to promote knowledge sharing and discussion among researchers, as well as between academia and industry.
